Babes in the Shade Commercial Shoot – Brisbane Commercial Photographer
I love it when clients come back to me especially my commercial clients. I did some shots for Babes in the Shade a few months ago which were used at the Kids In Style Expo in Sydney! Due to some pieces changing and more stock arriving it had to be reshot – so when Ali asked me to reshoot the collection I was really excited as I just think this product is awesome – especially with summer just around the corner.
We were going to go to a beach location for the shoot but due to all this crazy weather we have been having and the number of models being involved we had to come up with another solution. So what else do you do – but buy an image on i-stock and get the awesome guys at Brilliant Prints to make you up a backdrop. I don’t normally shoot using a backdrop but I have to say I think it really worked for these shots and served it’s purpose. And forget about the backgrounds, how ADORABLE are these models. Super super cute.
If you haven’t already checked out Babes in the Shade do yourself a favor – they have sunshirts and rashies for your kids and even have some for the ladies now. All the sun shirts are designed with zip fasteners for easy changing, long sleeves for maximum protection and an array of matching sun-safe accessories. Every rashie stocked is UPF 50+ and chlorine and salt water resistant. I don’t think they are up on Facebook as yet but I will let you know when they are!
This is a selection of images from our two shoots.
Enjoy x

Rod n Lil Family Shoot {Brisbane Family Photographer}
A few weeks back now I had the absolute pleasure in meeting this adorable family. From the moment we spoke on the phone I just knew we would all get along so great. Natalie is the owner of Rod n Lil so will also be using these images in her commercial range (we killed two birds with one stone!). We met down on the Gold Coast on what was going to be a potentially rained out session however it held off and we got to capture some magical images – and I think the highlight of the day was definitely the bubbles. The kids were just SO well behaved and I could really feel the love the have for their parents – I think you will also feel the bond that they have – just beautiful.
{Nat, it has been such a pleasure meeting you and your beautiful family – I truly hope we keep in touch and I wish you much success with your business – sorry to take so long with this blog post!}.
Lastly please excuse that the images are not centered on my blog. I will be working to fix this but I have decided I would rather showcase my images like I used to rather than worry about if they are centered etc. To my linear freak friend – I know you will be ok lol.
Till next time

Loving La Toriana {Brisbane Commercial Photographer}
Yesterday I was so lucky to finally meet the adorable Elizabeth, owner of La Toriana. I have been doing some photography for Liz over the last few months for her website and just knew we would get on amazingly – and we did. Elizabeth is up in Brisbane for a conference so we thought it would be a great opportunity to meet up and of course organise a divine photoshoot with some divine models. So yesterday we headed to Daisy Hill and had a fantastic time shooting some new clothing which Liz is selling through La Toriana. The weather was VERY overcast but we still managed to have a great shoot. If you have kids make sure you drop in to her website/blog. She sells the best quality designer brands and name brand clothing, gifts, toys and accessories.
Also want to give a shout out to Ah-Tissue (link here) who supplied the Pom Poms for the shoot and also Linda from Bubble & Sweet who supplied the yummy party food and styled it so beautifully. Also a massive thanks to Fiona – you were awesome, got some amazing images and played Mr Puppet so well : )
This is just a quick sneak peak but will have a blog post up by Sunday morning!
Till next time

Welcome to My New Blogsite
Ok so if you have landed here you are probably thinking wow this looks different, and yes you are right – it is different. Very different. I made a decision a few months ago to try and have my blog and website combined as I spend so much time on updating my blog and my poor old website was never updated and had old images etc. As such, I found an amazing designer, Anna from Invite with Style and together we worked on getting it to a place where we felt it reflected my style and also provided new clients and retrning visitors with a user friendly site that was easy to navigate and also not full of flash (yes you can find me on the iphone now).
As with anything, there are a few things that need to be fixed and we will be working on getting this done ASAP. In the meantime, take a look around - the blog is here, there are information pages, you can connect with me on Facebook or Twitter by going to the Connect tab up the top and of course you can leave me a comment any time you please : )
I hope you love the new site and will come back and visit again. And because I can’t blog without a photo here is one of my favs from a shoot I did with Yummy Mummies & Mini Me last week – more information on this will be coming soon along with a competition to celebrate the launch!
Later this week I will be blogging a sneak peak from my gorgeous wedding on the weekend!

Princess Ratbags
As most of you will know I do the photography for Princess Ratbag when she launches a new seasonal range! I thought I would share with you some of my favourite photos from my trip to Sydney where I organised a mini-shoot with some new colours and also from our “official” shoot up here in Brisbane! The winners from the Face of Princess Ratbag competition were flown up here to model for the new range and wow, how beautiful were they all! These photos are not necessarily the ones that “made it” but more my favs.
Oh and feel free to leave a comment. I spend HOURS keeping this blog up to date so would be great to get some feedback from you guys – you know I really appreciate it and makes it feel like it is worth while putting all this effort in to share my sessions with you all : )
Enjoy
